Welcome to
The Neurodivergent Hub
We are all about neurodiversity. Feel safe to connect, seek advice, support, learn, and thrive with likeminded individuals.

Neurodiversity is a term that describes the cognitive differences between how people think, learn and behave. There is no single, correct way for the brain to function, Neurodiversity honors each persons unique perspectives and experiences without judgement.
Science has identified strong links to genetics alongside trauma, sleep issues, sensory deficiencies, infectious disease, immune and nutritional factors.
Most struggles can be managed through supportive strategies and changes in lifestyle, sometimes therapy or medication can also be helpful.
Here at The Neurodivergent Hub you can expect practical unbiased guidance for children, families and adults that struggle more so than others with the daily demands of life.
We aim to create a clear process of support, through tailor made advice and guidance enabling our clients to achieve their goals and aspirations. Whether you are looking to connect to like minded peeps through our members platform or, seeking advice with a current issue on a clinic call, even to requiring an assessment and diagnosis... your at the right place in The Neurodivergent Hub.
Our guidance and training's are educational and thought provoking thanks to the extensive experience from our lead consultant and trainer Lisa, who has gained over 2 decades of academic knowledge along with her 'life time of lived skills' as a struggling neurodivergent child in school ... through to being a parent of a neurodivergent child who struggles in school. This is alongside her 20+ year career in the local authority where she facilitated training and provided support for children, families, carers and education staff which also includes teaching in special educational schools, mainstream schools and independent schools from toddler groups to post 16!
Here at The Neurodivergent Hub we are #proactiveoverreactive this means through questioning and learning about ourselves, we expand our awareness, whilst building knowledge and understanding allowing us to make positive changes to thrive.

Here are a few words from our past clients
Becky Autism Champion/ Teaching Assistant
I have been supported by Lisa on several occasions. Lisa has provided support for children I have worked with on the Autism Spectrum. Some of the children I have worked with can be very tricky. Lisa has provided me with valuable support and training, and helped me support children to transition into the classroom. Lisa provided me valuable resources and tools, which has helped me support other children. Lisa’s level of support was excellent and very informative.

Emma, Parent
We were introduced to Lisa through the Autism Team. She was assigned to help us manage, and understand, our daughters difficulties with daily routines, tasks and problems understanding emotions. Lisa was very approachable, friendly and we soon built up a rapport whereby we felt we could trust her with any information surrounding our daughters Autism without the fear of judgement.
Lisa provided us with basic knowledge about Autism and explained the reasoning behind the difficulties my daughter faced. She saw that Autism was very new to us and signposted us to the NAS Early bird training, that she was presenting. This course proved invaluable to us, and Lisas' teaching skills were easy to follow, and provided much opportunity for any questions we needed answering.
Without Lisas' intervention, vast knowledge, practical skills and introduction to visual timetables, timers etc, I don't know how we would have began the process of understanding both Autism and my daughter.
Lisa helped us tremendously in the home by showing us methods of working around Autism in a way that we could get my daughter to co operate.
My daughter is also violent, and a biter, but at the time we were embarassed/scared to ask for help through fear of judgement, but Lisa is so kind and understanding that we felt able to approach and ask for advice, which she provided, and helped us to gain more control over the situation.
The level of support we received was excellent. Lisa shows a great understanding of Autism which has helped us to understand our daughter and the way she sees the world.
Her dedication, unique teaching skills, empathy, understanding, friendliness and the way she was able to interact with my daughter so freely made her involvement a blessing.

Catherine, Parent
Lisa has worked in a special education setting with two of my boys, who both have a diagnosis on the Autistic Spectrum. Despite the fact that they have very different needs, Lisa was able to effectively support them according to their individual needs.
Her communication skills are superb, which meant we (as parents) received information about our boys’ school day that they were not able to communicate themselves.
She worked really hard with the residential team who were caring for one of our boys ; ensuring the transition into care from home was as smooth as possible. She was always professional during any multi disciplinary meetings and able to advocate thoughtfully for our boys.
Lisa is a highly motivated person in all she does. and This translates into a caring professional as she constantly strives to improve her knowledge and give unique and individual care.
